Services

As a community based program, Adult Day Health Care is provided to persons who may live near by in the community. Participants are able to enjoy adult day healthcare during the day for meals, social activities, peer support and companionship. 

Our Adult Day Healthcare Program is licensed separately and provided independently of Residential Care,  in a separate location on premises. Residents of ALF's (Assisted Living Facility) to include our own, do not qualify for reimbursement  and are not eligible to attend Adult Day Healthcare. Instead ALF residents seeking day programs are referred to Psycho-social day programs. 

ADHC may be used in combination with other Home and Community Based Services  such as care from nurses, therapists or  social workers. We offer person centered care and relief for a family caregiver for the day or portions thereof. 

Participants will enjoy stimulating and therapeutic group activities that promotes memory enhancements. Additional services includes health monitoring, medication administration, assistance with personal care, therapeutic rehab, community outings and much more. 

Adult Day Healthcare services are available  Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm. The ADHC program is closed on all major holidays.

At Helping Hands, we place our emphasis on maintaining  the  highest quality of comfort and care in meeting the needs of each resident. Our 31 bed facility provides optimal care  24 hours a day for elderly and disabled adults, ensuring that every person has a variety of person centered services.

 We want our home to feel like your home. We allow residents to live quietly in the least restrictive environment where rules and regulations are kept to a safe minimum.

Residents of the Assisted Living receives 3 hot meals and 2 snacks per day, consistent health monitoring, supervision, assistance with ADL's, outings, daily programming and recreational activities, coordination of medical and psychiatry appointments.

We know that everyone deserves

 "a little rest and relaxation", Helping Hands Adult Care provides temporary supportive care for those who need transitional support after an illness or simply unable to be left alone. 

Respite care allows caregivers to travel, focus on themselves or other family issues. Many respite guests enjoy their stay and often become permanent assisted living residents.

  Respite services can be used from only a few days stay to four (4) weeks.  Our services allows an opportunity  for a great living option  to elderly or disabled adults who needs some day-to-day supportive services,  in addition to desired social stimulation or engagement and activities.

Respite participants  enjoys all of the same services as assisted living residents.
